TaPps Forge ("we", "our") develops and maintains the ZoneIX mobile app. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the app, how it is used, and what rights you have over it. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the application.
ZoneIX only stores your session preferences in your device's local storage (Android SharedPreferences). This data is never transmitted to any server:
ZoneIX accesses your device's rear camera to analyze the luminance of the scene in real time. Frames from the camera stream are processed exclusively on the device and are not stored or transmitted. The app does not capture, save, or share any image or video.
ZoneIX displays a banner ad on the Result screen, served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID), IP address, and ad-interaction data to show personalized advertising, if the user has given consent. Google AdMob is subject to its own privacy policy.
To comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws, ZoneIX uses the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to request and manage your consent before initializing AdMob. If you do not consent, no personalized ads will be shown. You can review or change your preferences at any time from the app's Settings screen, in the "Privacy policy" section.
The app requests camera access permission exclusively for its core function: measuring the luminance of the scene according to the Zone System. If you deny the permission, the metering functionality will not be available, but you will still be able to access the rest of the app. You can revoke the permission at any time from your device's system settings.

Since ZoneIX does not store personal data on its own servers, most of these rights are exercised directly by deleting the app's local data or modifying your consent preferences. For any further queries, contact us at [email protected].
If you reside in California, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal data is collected about you, the right to request its deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
ZoneIX does not sell personal information. Data collected by Google AdMob may fall under the "sharing data for third-party advertising" category under the CCPA. You can opt out by managing your consent preferences in the app or by enabling the "Limit Ad Tracking" option in your Android device settings.
ZoneIX is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, contact us at [email protected] so we can take appropriate action.
Although ZoneIX does not transmit personal data, we take technical measures to protect locally stored information: automatic Android backups are disabled for this app, which prevents the app's data from being accessible through Android's backup mechanism.
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We recommend reviewing it periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are published implies acceptance of the updated policy.
